The ARAIDA fashion house was founded in 2014 and has already released two collections. Their third collection, SS16, will launch on October 21 as part of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia.

ARAIDA's philosophy is captured by their slogan, "The brand of modesty." ARAIDA offers a fresh take on oriental elegance and refinement: luxurious fabrics, complex hand-embroidery, elegant forms, original textures, and uniquely feminine lines.

The SS16 collection evokes the beauty of traditional Asian dress, inspired by the delicacy and sophistication of oriental beauties. Echoes of traditional Asian style reverberate in every thread like an autumn breeze blowing through the petals of the cherry blossom.

The collection's refined femininity contains a hint of mystery. Enigmatic oriental forms blend harmoniously with elements of European fashion to form a perfect union of elegant silhouettes and details: asymmetric multilayer dresses, jumpsuits, sheath dresses, and original sweatshirts. The designer pays close attention to appliqué and embroidery, unusual cuts, and ensuring an ideal fit.

One important detail and a distinctive component of the ARAIDA look is the turban. ARAIDA's founder says it's the brand's main accessory.

Every detail and accessory is hand-sewn using a variety of techniques. The designer has also released a limited series of backpacks for the collection inspired by the traditional Japanese obi belt.

ARAIDA stands for timeless individuality, nobility and refinement, elegance and a harmonious fusion of cut, geometry, and feminine beauty.
