SLAVA ZAITSEV will traditionally open the new season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia with his prêt-a-porter de luxe collection Life Patterns featuring eZ by YEGORZAITSEV.
Prêt-a-porte de Luxe collection by Vyacheslav Zaitsev in Season Spring-Summer 2016 named LIFE PATTERNS features simple in shape but sensation-complex looks filled with inner deep meanings. Maestro contradicts the general trend of the growing crisis-like world perception by the bright, expressly decorative collection, rich in various themes and silhouettes. Slava Zaitsev did not simply turn to the fashion trends of 1980s grasping inspiration from designers of those times but he turned to his own archives selecting the most interesting sketches and redesigning them according to the new understanding of the fashion look. Male collection highlights the group of coats performed in wool and tweed: straight silhouette with solid shoulder belt, set-in and reglan sleeve. For instance, extended shoulders in male and female garments are the major trend of the collection. As a reflection of another topical trend, the collection includes male denim suits supplemented with composite tussore shirts. Gentlemen who worship smart luxury will appreciate multi-layer sets of thin wool with short-cut jackets, straight pants, long coats and vests to be worn over the coat. Female garments vary from light coats to evening gowns in Hollywood chic style. This seasons the coats are short with loose shoulders, adorned with appliqué work and golden embroideries. If you are not fond of loose pieces, take a look at the fall wool suits with satin finishing in 1960s style and shorts with storm flaps. Major highlight of the collection is casual suits that include jackets and skirts in various silhouettes tailored of Pavlovoposadsky shawls. Bright, rich colours, complex combinations of ornamental fabrics along with delicate silhouettes create 'what a wonderful life' mood. Faithful to his style Vyacheslav Zaitsev designed new sets tailored of Indian scarves, neat looks of dresses and transparent flowing coats of silk, chiffon and georgette, blouses with ornamental prints with tapared leg pants, quilted jackets and skirts of Pavlovoposadsky silk. Evening looks feature chiffon and silk low-neck dresses.Among the distinguished looks is the dress that features orange and pink corset and the skirt with expressive print in beige and purple colours along with the set of brocade jacquard in marsala colour and the lace dress on satin underdress. At the top of the collection is the bridal dress. It is soft, airy, multilayer, with complex highlighted sleeves and the corset incrusted with lace. Atop the small dress in Empire style the bride wears a semi-transparent skirt with long train that is tied in a bow from the front that adds to the entire look a glimpse of delicate mystery. Maintaining the general idea of dynastic development of the brand Maestro included into the show a block of garments from YeZ by YEGORZAITSEV. Neat, romantic, feminine dresses and the outfits with check and floral prints go in line with Egor Zaitsev's designer style keeping at the same time the previous military inspired collection.
