«BezGraniz Couture – Fashion without borders»
Mercedes-BenzFashiob Week Russia and the international special needs project «BezGraniz Couture» are presenting the unique project: the runway show for the people with special needs. Russian designers Masha Sharoeva, Sabina Gorelik, Daria Rasumikhina, Oksana Liventsova, Dima Neu and the winners of the contest «BezGraniz Couture» Albina Bikbulatova, Christiana Volf, Migel Carvallo took part in the show. The designers presented the collections, created for the people with a syndrome and cerebral paralysis, for the blind, little people, and as well for the people using a wheel-chair. On the catwalk there were 40 models with disabilities especially for the show, among them the members of Paralympic team of Russia.
The first to present his trouser suits for the people using a wheel-chair, was the member of «BezGraniz Couture» Migel Carvallo with his collection Wea Tailoring. In this show participated six time Paralympic champion Segrey Shilov. High waist trousers, with long zippers, cuts on the knees and lingered trousers – this costume is created first of all for the comfort. These clothes, according to the creators, is important for people, who mainly work sitting: office workers and the drivers. The materials, of which the costumes are being produced, are elastic, they keep the form, they are water- and dirt-proof, «keep the air» and they are counted on the pressure of a wheel-chair.
Right after that there appeared the people with a syndrome, demonstrating the clothing by Oksana Liventsova from «Odyssia» collection. The items notwithstanding the simplicity, have a sophisticated cut and thotougnly constructed elements. The items are transformed with the help of the zippers: in some models they are the cut elements and in the others they are used as clips. There are no side seams or shoulder seams. The clothes are modern and functional: one can wear them on special occations and casually.
The third person presenting her collection, was Maria Sharoeva with her line «Let it always be sunshine», created for the people with a syndrome. The collection was chosen by the soft cloth: silk, cotton, woolen knitted fabric. Thin clips, light zippers, earth shades – the main Maria’s aim casual comfortable clothes far from being a brand.
Right after that there was a collection Vira by the designers Dima Neu and Svetlana Sarycheva. It was created on the special yoga clothing basis and it’s for those people with the missing body parts, and as well for those with broken arms or legs. The main aim is to hide the drawbacks of the figure. It’s easy to put on and off, and in order not to have a curvature of a spine it includes a special bag, and it’s correct in equalizing the weight.
With the dancing track there appeared the collection of Osinka School by Albina Bikbulatova, created for the kids with the curvature of the spine. It’s main peculiarity is that the models of a school uniform or casual clothes have the inside correctors of essential material.
The puplic was presented the collection by Christiana Wolf To be read, for the blind and almost blind people. With the special type there is the information about the color, size, match and the advice to wear. The beads served this aim though it seemed to be a decorative element.
The collection Little Girl was by Sabina Gorelik was created for little people. It’s hard for them to choose the clothes to make them beautiful. The designer tried to solve this problem, using the tree-quarter sleeves, that were visually longing the arms, and the high waist trousers of elastic material. Sabina created occasional dresses as well, that are so hard to find in the shops.
The last collection was by Daria Rasumikhina «The rainbow», that presented the women’s clothing for those who use a wheel-chair. The colorful skirts were cut in order not disturb with the wheels. The items of soft cloth was hiding the peculiarities of the figure in the waist area. The designer presented the oversleeves as well, that may protect the clothes in a rainy weather.
