Fourth day of the 30th anniversary season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia

Alliance of Russian Art Engineers opened the fourth day of the 30th Season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Natali Netski, Nadya Hohlova, Dana Karimova, Lena Karnauhova, Svetlana Bekareva and LUSH&Co demonstrated their Fall-Winter collections 2015/16.
Natali Netski showed cable-knitted poncho, slate-grey pencil skirts paired with chiffon blouses, classic vests with burgundy fringe lapels and satin flowing floor-length skirts.

 

As for Nadya Hohlova, she took the runway with the monochrome white collection performed in the futuristic themes - loose overalls, cropped kimonos, ornamental cable-knitted cardigans worn over light dresses in white and milky-white colours.

Principal idea of DANNA KARIMOVA brand is the functionality of every piece in the closet and easy transformation of casual garments into evening ones with the help of accessories.

Lena Karnauhova took the catwalk with the decent monochrome dresses and overalls in dark colours. Some garments were adorned with the vertical stripes that refer to St George Ribbon, among other decorative elements were trendy metal zippers on the skirt of the dress and rough edges.

In Fall-Winter collection 2015/16 Svetlana Bekareva worked with the military themes - khaki, military prints mixed with beaded flowers, embroidered manually, vests reminding sword-belts and chiffon skirts with rough army boots.

LUSH&Сo brand and designer Natali Luchkova showed her Fall-Winter 2015/16 collection that featured coats and tops with massive floral appliqués, oversize cloaks with gradient and asymmetric coats.

Designer Kamilla Kurbani from Kazakhstan continued the day and presented her Fall-Winter collection 2015/16. When designing the collection, Kamilla took inspiration from her native places. Designer used the prints to show the most beautiful and memorable places of her home country and colours of nature that are so typical of Kazakhstan. Major prints of the collection depict mountain slopes of Sharyn Canyon, poppy fields and vast prairies on clothes.

AKA NANITA brand then took the runway. Georgien designers Aki Nanitashvili is the new-comer at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. He showed a solid collection in which designer focused on multi-layer garments and Renaissance themes expressed not only in massive bright accessories and flakes of glittering fibre in fabric but also in the prints of pictures that adorned the tops. Colour palette featured all pastel colours and shades.

One of the all-time head-liners at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia - PIROSMANI BY JENYA MALYGINA brand presented the collection that is in line with the major concept of the brand - Antipodium. This time the traditional black and white palette was blended with canary-yellow. Large leather backpacks, prints that are applied on clothes manually with the paints, lengthy male T-shirts, floor-length coats and high collars - all took the catwalk. Familiar ragged elements this time acquired a more geometrical shape - triangle.

Designer Dasha Gauser presented her Fall-Winter collection in tender pastel colours with the hints of black. Bat-silhouette, ornamental necks, solid insets on chiffon, sport bombers with flowing evening gowns - featured the collection. Besides, there was no way to avoid fringe on accessories and wing-sleeves.

Designer Alexandra Vanyushina showed the collection of formal and casual dresses performed in dark colour palette - black, dark-blue, slate-grey and deep green. Flowing floor-sweeping dresses went together with the short casual variants designed in solid fabric and classic strict suits. Major accessories - all-purpose square-shaped leather bags.

Designer Julia Kosyak with the presentation of her new collection completed the fourth day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. The collection was specially designed for the play ILLUSIO performed by the unique theatre project Leningrad Centre founded by Felix Mikhailov. All costumes in the collection are transformers and have the original silhouettes.

The fourth day also featured presentations by KoJewelry, Igor York, Osome2Some.

KoJewelry is the jewellery brand by Olga Kenigson. This time the designer presented an updated collection of jewels made of precious metals encrusted with white and coloured stones in the unique diamond cut. Besides the designer showed a line of cuffs and stud earrings scattered with coloured stones.

Igor York showed the collection Forward and Upward inspired by avant-garde arts, Bauhaus principles and constructivist architecture. Major principles of the line is geometry of shapes, strict and stylish colour combinations. Practical bags from Igor York are all-purpose ones, they are not designed for any particular season and are more into the unisex style.

St Petersburg brand Osome2some, cherished for its coats, this time presented a Spring-Summer collection which features garments made of solid summer textured wool and silk with linen. Major colours are safari, soft milk, steel grey and pure white, The brand achieved to design a bright line which is decent at the same time and traditionally focuses on showing the beautiful feminine silhouette without overloading it.


Besides the fourth day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia featured the trunk show of Ria Keburia brand which took place in the restaurant Tiflis Dvorik. The designer showed her new Fall-Winter collection 2015/16.
