Traditionally the Fashion Week was lead off by Slava Zaytsev’s show. No one believes in beauty and elegance as Slava Zaytsev does! Today everyone tries to keep pace with time, while Zaytsev has his own epoch. He is one of the last great masters who continue to praise the delicate women beauty. Daring shapes, proportions, volumes. If only young designers would acquire such self-belief,working efficiency, audacity and irony.
Bunker Z is quite an interesting kind of an artistic union consisting of Anastasiya Vereshagina, Ekaterina Iliukhina, Marina Maris and Olga Kisilenko. All collections are discrepant, it is obvious that every designer perceives for whom he creates. Anastasiya Vereshiagina’s collection is laconic and reminds us of Anna Karenina of the modern times. Velvet, caracul, laces, fur hats and edgings. The image is accurate, there is a clear scent of an indulgence in old Russian fashions. Ekaterina Iliukhina’s knitted clothes are utterly interesting. A cozy match of shades of coral, beige and chartreuse. The fashion is very soft and touching. Marina Maris is in the search of new shapes suitable for every-day life. Rough felt constructions with seams on the front. The work with chiffon is delicate, while the extremely picturesque abundance of layers and sophisticated hand-made embroidery cannot be dismissed. A striving for male features and the belief in the ‘machismo’ distinguishes Olga Kisilenko. While her “friend of the Night Wolves” style can be found on the streets of Moscow in summer.

In ZARINA’s collection everything is exact and clear. The closet of a modern woman presented to us in its every detail. Clear, vivid colors, the Russian-type red and green, vyshyvankas, shirt dresses – the exquisite Russian silhouette for today.
Sophisticated fashions designed by Marina Makaron seem to come from painted postcards. A plenty of handles, colors and details. Best remembered are the tournure, the bag on the shoulder, golden tears and the small crown made of chiffon petals.
Alena Akhmadullina’s character is a Petersburger or a Muscovite from a charming lubok drawing. Fur coats are amazing, there is a wish to wear knitted clothes and a desire to go on dates, to fly to Paris and to eat cupcakes on Nikolskaya street wearing dresses.

Olga Vilshenko has already enchanted Moscow with her dresses. She has an eye for them! These are fashions we want to wear today to imagine we are the characters from 70s-80s European movies.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia’s star and headliner Bessarion belongs to the few professionals who know their trade thoroughly. Merchandiser, stylist, designer and representative of many cultures of the former Soviet Union countries, he perceives the time precisely. Rough shapes and colors: black and red, cobalt blue, silver… The whole collection is utterly wearable and lively, whereas scarves are must-have for winter 2013/14.
Sitka Semsch has been displaying her collections in Moscow for many years already. On snowy spring days these sunny Peruvian fashions seem to be untrue. The oversea designer precisely senses the needs of her Russian customers. Flowing, soft silhouettes, delicate décor and, hooray, the speed!
Separate attention should be paid to the presentations which took place on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia ground. On the first day Rainbow Seekers introduced their creations. The atmosphere was created owing to the design of the space, which harmonically emphasized the style of accessories on display. Brave and beautiful!
Katya Rozhdestvenskaya’s presentation (ROB-ART brand) in the style of a Russian log cabin took place in a small but extremely cozy space. Katya, who is first of all a photographer, introduced a collection which consists of clothes of plain cut subdued to the content of prints.
