March 26 show features ZDDZ London presentation and BEssARION catwalk during the 30th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia

During its 30th season Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia has seen a presentation of ZDDZ London brand by St. Petersburg-born designer Dasha Selyanova, who already presented her collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia before. Visitors of the 11th floor loft apartment of Legenda Tsvetnogo complex could experience the Fall-Winter 2015/2016 collection made in line with the brand’s signature vision. This time the designer decided to put urban slogans prints on garments inspired by workwear. This season ZDDZ London’s girl takes the responsibility, as if saying “Relax –I’ll deal with all of it myself”. According to the designer, she took her inspiration from the memories of the 1990s when she was the only girl in a group of her rapping friends. School uniform colors, oversized T-shirts, baggy trousers – those are allusions to the past.

The day also featured a catwalk show by BEssARION during which the designer performed his monochrome collection where asymmetrical shapes, spacious basques, men’s jackets and oversized coats were on full display. The beauty images were in harmony with the dominant style of the collection: models’ faces were completely covered by “helmets” made of hair. The designer refashioned the houndstooth pattern: its traditional broken checks shape became larger and more blurred. As for the accessories long fur mittens took the catwalk. And in general fur has turned into one of the line’s major creative elements, as it is used not only in garments, but also in Birkenstock sandals the models were wearing.

The title partner of the Fashion Week is Mercedes-Benz.
Other partners of the event: L’Oréal Professionnel (official stylist), Mary Kay (official make-up stylist), DHL (official logistic partner), Metropol (official hotel), El Corte Inglés (partner).
