Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia together with the best students of Moscow Art and Industry Institute presented the project VIDEOLOOKBOOK

Ten young designers - ambitious students of MHPI - presented their collections in an unusual way. Ten videos were intentionally made for MBFWR. Extraordinary approach to presenting the collection instead of usual show or installation has actually been a success for some time already. Every year large world brands and designers make conceptual videos that can be considered the objects of art on its own. For instance, video by Gareth Pugh made in 2007.

Thanks to MHPI and MBFWR young designers got the chance to be in one team with acknowledged fashion personalities. Every student presented his or her own collection in a five-minute video, which task was to feature how the collection was born. Ordinary audience, potential clients, both do not always understand what statement a designer makes with his or her garments, what the inspiration was and what allusions could be traced in simple pants. Every guest of MBFWR now has the chance to put aside the rush and noise of the fashion show and live through the creative world of MHPI students.

The idea and implementation of the project belongs to Olga Nenastyeva, an expert that has a long fashion experience. Thanks to her energy and extraordinary vision 10 best students of MHPI (Vasily Bychkov, Ekaterina Zlochevskaya, Alexandra Kirillova, Lilia Anokhina, Anastasia Serebrennikova, Ekaterina Golubeva, Anastasia Aldebeneva, Sergey Dronov, Miskaryan Armine, Anastasia Kaurova) got the chance to make a step forward into professional environment.
