Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia elongated an agreement with title partner for five years

The new step is considered to be beyond of Moscow event - this project will get more opportunities for international integration and regional development.


In the course of the conference, Mercedes –Benz Fashion Week Russia and Artefact Agency director Alexander Shumsky, ZAO Mercedes –Benz RUS managing director Yan Carol Madea and IMG Russia Irina Diadunova entered the contract on title partnership till 2019.


The partnership of automobile brand Mercedes-Benz and Russia Fashion Week started in 2011 after signing the three- year contract, that lead Russia to international stage on the same level with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin and Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week New York. New five –year agreement comprises ten seasons starting from 2014. The contract extending shows a progress of mutual business and a tendency for developing household name Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. According to Yan Madea, fashion is considered to be an integral part of Mercedes-Benz brand in Russia. “If you want to be successful you need to adhere to some elements. You need to have a good material, and we have already possed it – Fashion Week. You need to have a brand, and as I said before, it is Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week which achieved a great success on the international stage. You also need a partner. And in this particular case I would like to underline that we have got an accountable and a professional partner for participatory development in the person of Artefact Communications Agency director Alexander Shumsky.


Mercedes- Benz emerged on the international stage in the late nineties, becoming title partner of Fashion Week New York. Nowadays premium automobile brand supports more than 30 Fashion Weeks around the world including title partnership in Berlin, Tokyo, Istanbul, Sidney, New York and many others fashion capitals. Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week Russia ( till 2011 – Russian Fashion Week) has been held in Moscow within 13 years two times a year – in spring and autumn. The grounds for staging comprise World Trade Center Congress Hall, tents on Red Square Vasilievsky Spusk and in the Central House of Artists, Gorky Park. Since 2012 Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week Russia has been taking place in Central Exhibition Hall Manege.
