27 March presentations: «Art Kvadrat» and «Made in MAIU»

During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia there was a presentation of young designers «Art Kvadrat», where participated five designers. The cating was held by fashion expert of the project – Artem Krivda. March 28 on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia there was a collection of the students of Moscow Artistic Industrial University «Art and Fashion the way they see it in MAIU».

During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia there was a presentation of young designers «Art Kvadrat», where participated five designers. The cating was held by fashion expert of the project – Artem Krivda.

Maria Chernishkova, one of the creators of the jewelry brand «Gud and Chernyshkova», described her collection: «The collection includes all our youth impressions: first love, first disappointment – all these impressions we tried to express in our jewelry line. We used both essential and synthetical materials while creating”.
«The conception of the brand «Katerina Goreglyad» is based on combination of a personality and clothing, and the Main themes was based on Scandinavian fables. Basic materials, being used while creation, became the wool of alpaca and silk», – Katerina Goreglyad , the designer.
«I use only essential materials: lama, cashmere, all of my dresses are made of silk and organza. My manufacture is located in Moscow. I am an accountant by occupation, but one day I realized that I desire to create, , later I invented the brand and then I got to know from my acquaintance about the Art Kvadrat project and decided to participate».


Presentation «Made in MAIU»
March 28 on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia there was a collection of the students of Moscow Artistic Industrial University «Art and Fashion the way they see it in MAIU».
During this presentation there appeared the collections of 4 designers, unite by the creative potential and love for fashion.
Zhenya Kim, 4th course student, promising designer, creator of the brand J.KIM:
Conception of the brand is based on the contrast between America and Japan. Designer was inspired by national costumes of different cultures. Creating this collection, Zhenya spent the whole summer in museums and galleries in New York, that made a perfect basis for the line creation. One of the most original ideas of the concept is the belt obi, transformed into a basque.
Alexandra Weider, graduate of 2013. Creator of her own brand SASHA WIDER:
The diploma collection was pointed by look at me, British edition «Сolower Journal», by Dasha Valedeeva, Natasha Turovnikova, who invited her to make a fashion-video for London Fashion week.
Ada Sheveleva , 4th course student, the founder of the brand ASHE presented her collection Plateau. It’s know by straight lines, free silhuettes, geometrical cut and sophisticated spectrum decisions.

All the items are made of essential materials – silk organza, jersay, wool, hand-embroidered chiffon.
Olya Shurigina, the graduate of 2013. Founder of the brand CAP AMERICA, the winner of the X contest «Russian silhuette» and the trainee of the Fashion House Ermano Scervino. The collection is devoted to gentleness and mystery. It’s known by simple cut and the form simplicity.
Each designer has a unique conception of the line and of the brand . Each collection was created in a personal creative way specially for the presentation. MAIU created a unique opportunity the most talented students to make a good start on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
